Annual Review Course:
August, 2010
Targeted primarily to Radiology Residents, Nuclear Medicine Residents attend the appropriate portions of this Review Course. Covered are Radiation Physics, Radiopharmacy, Generators and Equilibrium, Radiobiology, Computers, MRI, Radiation Safety, Radiation Dosimetry, Statistics, In Vivo Non-Imaging Studies, Radionuclide Therapy, Quality Control, and other topics of interest to Nuclear Medicine Residents. This intensive review will be presented in concentrated form with detailed typed handouts provided for each lecture topic accompanied by extensive audiovisual material. These lecture handouts are continually being updated to reflect state-of-the-art knowledge. Questions are welcomed at any time during the course and practice examinations prepared by each speaker will be mailed to all attendees along with the acknowledgment letter indicating receipt of the registration form. These examinations will be reviewed in their entirety during the course. An integral part of the course includes problem solving.

1. An acknowledgment letter will be sent to each registrant along with practice examinations in each area of expertise. Pertinent information regarding transportation to and around the Chicago area will also be included.
2. At 7:30 AM each morning, there will be a Continental Breakfast. You're on your own for lunch, which is scheduled from 12 Noon to 1 PM each day.

$400 for Nuclear Medicine Residents only. This fee must accompany the registration form. Included in the fee are all continental breakfasts, coffee breaks, handouts, and miscellaneous course materials. There is a $50 charge for cancellation requests, which must be in writing. There will be no refund after the course begins.Enrollment: Enrollment is limited. Please register early to insure a place in the course.

Air Travel: It is most convenient to fly into O'Hare International Airport. An alternative airport is Chicago Midway Airport, which is approximately 25 mile from the hotel. In either case, when you have your luggage, simply call American Taxi at 847/255-9614 and give the dispatcher your location. Their driver will pick you up within 5-10 minutes. Fare to the hotel is about $35-40 from O’Hare or Midway. The fare may be shared with other riders going to the same hotel.
